How to copy emoji from the Events & Holidays section
Tap any smiley in the list and the symbol goes to your clipboard, ready to paste into a chat, a group name or a post caption. It is a plain Unicode character, not an image: it works the same in Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and Instagram, weighs nothing and survives forwarding. The Compose button in the header collects several emoji into one line โ handy when you need a combination rather than a single symbol.
Questions about Events & Holidays emoji
- How many emoji are in the Events & Holidays section?
- Currently 21. The list follows the Unicode standard and is updated with it, so it holds both long-standing smileys and symbols from the newest releases.
- Why do some smileys look different on my device?
- The drawing comes from your device font, not from this site: Apple, Google and Samsung each draw emoji their own way. Every symbol page shows how it looks across platforms.
- What if I see an empty box instead of a smiley?
- The symbol is newer than your system and the font does not know it yet. You can still copy and send it: on a more recent device the emoji will show correctly.
