A free reference for emoji and symbols. No account, no sign-up, no payment. You may use it privately or at work.
The characters themselves
Emoji are part of the Unicode standard and belong to nobody. Copy them freely — the character in your message is plain text, exactly like a letter.
Images
The drawings we show come from open sets and stay under their own licences: Noto Color Emoji under Apache License 2.0, OpenMoji under CC BY-SA 4.0, Twemoji under CC BY 4.0. Downloading an SVG means accepting the licence of that set, including attribution where it is required.
Artwork by Apple, Samsung and other closed platforms is not reproduced here.

Meanings, articles and news are written by us. Quote them with a link; do not republish them wholesale.
No warranty
We check our data against the Unicode standard, but the site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a character will display on every device — that depends on your system fonts, not on us.
