Why does flipped text look different in different places?

Flipped letters are separate Unicode characters from various blocks, and fonts draw them unevenly. If the line has to look the same everywhere, keep it short and test it where you plan to paste it.

Will the strikethrough survive if I paste the text elsewhere?

Usually yes: the line here is not formatting but a character laid over the letter, so it copies along with it. Some fields strip such characters on save — you see that right after pasting.

Flip text

Text upside down and back to front: every letter is replaced by its flipped twin and the order runs right to left. The result is an ordinary string — paste it into a nickname, a bio or a message.

Everything is computed right in the browser: the text is never sent anywhere, and the page works even offline. The «Apply» button is only for people with scripts turned off — then the server does the work.
