How it works
The picture is shrunk to the chosen width, each cell gets its average colour, and the nearest symbol from the palette is picked for it. The smaller the width, the larger the «pixels» and the better it reads from afar; the larger, the more detail — and the longer the line.

The colours are approximate: every platform draws the «red square» in its own shade, and there is no single correct value. What matters is the order of the shades, not an exact match.
