- Why do some symbols look like boxes for me?
- Then your system font has no drawing for that character. Such symbols are better left alone: some of your readers will not see them either. Take a neighbour from the same set — simple marks like stars and frames are drawn everywhere.
- Are these symbols allowed everywhere?
