What is worth writing about
- A mistake in the data. A wrong name, a wrong code, a meaning that does not match usage. Please include the address of the page.
- A missing character. Tell us which one and where you saw it — sometimes it is a character outside the emoji set.
- Translation. If a phrase in your language reads badly, that is our fault, not the machine’s: we translate by hand.
- Licensing and attribution. If you are the author of an image set and something is credited incorrectly, we will fix it quickly.
- Privacy. Requests concerning your data — see the privacy policy.
What we cannot do
We do not add characters to Unicode: that is done by the consortium through a proposal procedure. We cannot make an emoji appear on your device either — that depends on your system fonts.
