What the 🧊 emoji means
A single ice cube. Literally cold, figuratively two things: jewellery, which slang has called ice for decades, and a person who reacted without any warmth at all.
Added in Emoji 13.0 for the plain purpose — drinks, weather, an ice bath — but the two slang senses arrived immediately. Which one applies is decided by whether the sentence is about a thing or a person.
