What the 🤔 emoji means
A face with a hand on its chin. It shows genuine deliberation, but just as often polite scepticism — a way to question a claim without saying «that sounds wrong».
Ending a message with it changes the tone: the same sentence reads as musing rather than assertion. In a work chat it can come across as pointed, so use it deliberately.
