What the 💨 emoji means
A puff of grey air trailing behind. In comics this is what is left after someone has bolted — the sign of speed and of a hasty exit.
Placed after a verb, it turns the sentence into an escape: «and I was gone 💨». It also serves for wind, exhaust and smoke, and in that role it usually stands alone rather than at the end of a phrase.

Where the 💨 emoji is used
The 💨 smiley copies in one tap and pastes into a chat as text, not as a picture: it is a Unicode symbol, so it works the same in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord and in a post caption. Every platform draws emoji its own way — below you can see how dashing away is drawn in the open Noto, OpenMoji and Twemoji sets.
