What the ๐ emoji means
A raised thumb. Signals agreement, approval or ยซgot itยป. In parts of the Middle East it retains an offensive reading, and in some online circles a bare thumbs up now sounds curt or passive-aggressive.
Handy for closing a conversation without extra words. If you want to sound warm rather than merely acknowledging, add a word or pick โค๏ธ or ๐ instead.
